Significance of Chaitra Month – Chaitra Masa Rituals and Customs

In Hindu Calendar, the Chaitra month has a great significance. Chaitra masa is the first month as per Hindu Calendar and it is considered as one of the most auspicious months for Hindus.

During the first fortnight of the Chaitra masam, on each day a God or deity is worshipped. Some days of Chaitra month are dedicated to more than one God.
