The Jumbo Leaves

‘The Match Winner’, ‘Mr. Jumbo’ and ‘Indian Leggie’, Anil Kumble announced his retirement on 2nd November, Sunday, the last day of the third test between India and Australia during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

In his favorite ground where he took the record haul of 10 wickets in an innings, he left International cricket. He got a grand farewell from his fellow cricketers and the cricket lovers in Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, New Delhi.

“It would have been ideal if we had won this Test, but the body was certainly telling me, asking me questions every day”  – Anil Kumble.
