Durga Navratri Puja In Hyderabad and Secunderabad

Durga Navarathri is the biggest festivity season in the twincities – Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Devotees celebrate the festival with a great passion and culture.

On this occasion, the cultural essence of Hyderabad will be shown out. Hyderabad is a great city of cultural and communal unity. In 2008, Ramzan (Ramadan – Eid Ul Fitr) falls during the Navarathri days. So we hope a prosperous and peaceful atmosphere.In Hyderabad, Hindus and Muslims live like brothers since the centuries.

In Hyderabad, ‘Peddamma Thalli Devasthanam’ (Peddaamma Gudi – Temple of Goddess Peddamma) is the great venue of Navratri celebrations. Ujjain Mahankali Temple, Secunderabad ; Astalakshmi Temple, Kothapet; Mahankali Temple, Lal Darwaza; Balkampet Renuka Yellamma Temple; and Katta Maisamma Temple, Begumpet are the prominnet temples where the Navratri Puja celebrations are observed.
