9 Colours of Durga Navratri

Durga Navratri is the most auspicious and most celebrated festival of India. It has variety of wonderful traditions and cultures.

During Durga Navratri, Goddess Durga Devi is worshipped in 9 forms. Each day a manifestation of the Goddess is worshipped.

Each day, a colour is used to represent the incarnations of Goddess Durga. The usual colors of Durga Devi Navratri are – Parrot Green, Orange, Yellow, Sky Blue, Pink, Grey, Green, Ink Blue, Royal Blue and Red. Generally, on Vijaya Dashami (Dussehra / Dasara / Dassara) Red is the color.
